ZoomersToBoomers

March 18, 2020, I founded ZoomersToBoomers (ZToB), a free grocery delivery service for the elderly and immunocompromised. Realizing the intensity of the need, I quickly began scaling the organization.

Violence Intervention and Prevention (ΣΦΕ)

The first step in creating a safe environment, is learning from those at highest risk. I started my journey by meeting with Sororities on campus, typically at highest risk from Greek Life, to learn what makes them feel unsafe in our space. After this I created trainings for our sober monitors, based on feedback I received. (We employ sober members of SigEp to help with any problems that may arise during a party)

Founding Stanford Women's Club Water Polo

Worked to help found the first ever Women's Club Water Polo Team at Stanford. As a CoEd Team President, I quickly learned that the women who practiced with the team were happy to continue practicing in a co-ed environment. However, traveling to compete against unknown men was a point of discomfort for most of the team.

An International Non-Profit

In under 6 months, I had grown ZtoB to have 38 operating cities, with over 1000 volunteers. I then began partnering with organizations such as Alaskan Airlines, Colgate-Palmolive, California's Governers office, and others to best help the population in need. In total, we served over 15,000 elderly and immunocompromised members of our communities.

Changing Stanford Policies

SigEp went on to have many fewer instances requiring hospitalizations than every other Greek Org. on campus. I am now working to change the Stanford Drug and Alcohol Policy to better protect students, as well as improving consent trainings in Sororities on campus.

First in Stanford's History

From this learning, I founded the Women's Travel team, and coached them to be a contender against some of the best teams in the nation (Took a game against UC Davis, an ex Varsity team, to 14-13).
